cv. of amoena v. viridis X horrida v. tigrina - (See 'Gerda') - Beadle said, "Large horrida form to 6 dm tall - knuckled strap shaped leaves w/broad apiculate tips - color is greenish red above and red to red-brown below w/heavy banding and white-silver spotting throughout - bloom favors the horrida parent - another cultivar also larger and primarily red".
