Note: A friend sent me these & said they were sold to them as A. taiwanense, which you can see, they are certainly not. This inflorescence is born alone & without a leaf. The leafed plants bear a small knob near the base of the petiole.

- Identification: giorgio pozzi (2010-05-10) =pinellia ternata (?) - the leaves are usually late after the fower is up
that knob is typical of ternatas
