- Identification (10332): Eric Gouda (2012-08-20) =Vriesea aff. cylindrica - (= Tillandsia porphyrocraspeda ) This is a very confusing group with upright or hanging inflorescences in all different sizes and need to be revised. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification (10332): HEL (2012-08-21) =V. aff tequendamae - Not V. cylindrica because scape and p. bracts not long attenuate and hanging,infl too short. Closer to V. tequendamae(always pendulous?) snd tillandsioides. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
