- Identification: Uncle Derek (2010-04-19) =XNeomea unknown hybrid - The inflorescencee looks odd and there are no pedicels. I guess that an Aechmea was mother hence the name but I doubt the Neo sarmentosa because it does not blush at anthesis. Seems to be another case of the hybridist not analysing his results. - Identification: Dutch Vandervort (2010-04-19) =x Neomea strawberry - looks a lot like x neomea strawberry which used to be fairly common in Souhern California -- perhaps dating back to Ed Hummell (Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
