Werner "acute, straight (uncurved) leaf tips; leaves usually conspicuously waxy & purplish below with pale yellowish green basal third, dirtyish green above, often with fine pirple spotting. Max. size distinctively smaller than classic T. complanata type; flowers lila to reddish-violet."
