Orthophytum 'Copper Penny'
Photographer: G Lawn
Note: To perceptive ones with a hybrid bent.
This plant was purchased at the 2004 Chicago WBC as 'Copper Penny' but has an elongated scape and green flowers. Clearly this is O. vagans crossed with say O. fosteriana NOT saxicola. If you are unsure what 'Copper Penny' looks like, refer to the Cultivar Register or the photo files on fcbs.org. Does anyone know the origin of the 'Chicago' plant so we can correctly add it to the cultivar register?
